Artist of the Day: Priscilla Mouritzen

I’ve got to tell you guys, I’m loving this! So nice to see and share such gorgeous work with you!

Here’s today’s pics brought to you from Priscilla Mouritzen who you may know from the Pinch Pots Blog. She’s a South-African-born ceramist, living in Denmark.

The first is of 5 pinched porcelain wood-fired bowls and the second of one pinched porcelain w-f bowl. All were exhibited at Galerie Besson, London in 2008.

Artist of the day: Monica Bodnar

In Monica’s words: My last batch of work has come from a book titled “the man who mistook his wife for a hat” by oliver sacks. It’s a bunch of animals with people paraphernalia.

As the snow still exists here I’m jealous of Monica living in North Florida…sigh, will i ever wear shorts again??? Please check out her blog and etsy shop for more.
