The Ceramics Annual of America is a gallery format exhibition featuring the work of an impressive group of national and international ceramic artists. This is your opportunity to be included in the largest exhibition of ceramic fine art in the United States. Last year’s exhibition attracted over 7,000 collectors, art enthusiasts, educators and students. Location: Ft. Call for entry – Sunshine Coast Art Prize


The Noosa Regional Gallery , Sunshine Coast Art Prize 3D (SCAP 3D) is presented by the Friends Noosa Regional Gallery Inc. The non- acquisitive Art Prize includes $15,000 + a four-weeks arts residency on the Sunshine Coast valued at $5,000. A non-acquisitive Highly Commended Prize of $2,500 will also be announced at the launch. A non-acquisitive People’s Choice Prize to the value of $2,500 will be announced 1 week prior conclusion of the exhibition. Artists will be selected from entries submitted to the Pre-selection Panel. Works will be selected from photographs submitted with the entry. Any Australian Citizen working in Australia in any 3D medium may enter. The Pre-selection Panel will invite up to 40 artists to exhibit one work in the SCAP 3D exhibition. The Judge will select the winner and highly commended artist from the 40 finalists.Applications need to be received by 31 March 2012.

Call for artists: Sidney Myer Fund Australian Ceramic Award


Closing date: 1 February 2012

Entries for the 2012 Sidney Myer Fund Australian Ceramic Award (SMFACA) can only be submitted online via our Online Entry Form. With $55,000 in prize money, the SMFACA cements its place as the premier Australian / International acquisitive ceramic art award. Three artists will be shortlisted in each category; Australian, International and Emerging Australian. One recipient artist will be chosen from the shortlisted artists in each category and receive a significant stipend to produce a body of work for exhibition on the understanding that the gallery will select part of the work for its collection. There will be six months between the announcement of award recipients and the delivery of works to the gallery.

Art Gallery of St. Albert Call for 2013

Art Gallery of St. Albert (AGSA), a contemporary public art gallery, seeks proposals from artists working in all styles and mediums for exhibition in the 2013 calendar year. The Gallery’s mandate is to provide enriching educational experiences that celebrate visual culture and artistic achievement through research, exhibition and interpretation. The Gallery strives to provide an exhibition schedule and corresponding public programs that both support educationally challenging art and appeal to its many audiences. Artworks need to provide vision, inspiration and education for residents of St. Albert and surrounding communities. The exhibition selection reflects originality and a diversity of styles and mediums. The Gallery presents artists who exhibit locally, nationally and internationally. Artwork is adjudicated by a panel of visual art professionals who represent a spectrum of expertise in the visual arts. The artists chosen to exhibit receive CARFAC fees. Kirkland Arts Center, call for entries: Clay? IV Exhibition

Submissions open to all clay-predicated artwork. Kirkland Arts Center is proud to present the fourth installment of its biennial contemporary ceramics exhibition, Clay? IV.

Juried by University of Washington, School of Art Professors Doug Jeck, Jamie Walker, and Akio Takamori, Clay? IV explores the multifariousness of clay as a medium of expression. Showcasing a range of sizes, scales, subject matter, and techniques, the artwork of this exhibition is both a testament to the enduring legacy of clay and to the future of the field.

No submission fee!

Kirkland Arts Center provides insurance for all artwork while exhibited at the KAC Gallery, but does not cover shipping costs or shipping insurance. Artwork must be distributed to KAC by the artist or through a mail carrier such as FedEx or DHL. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the artist.
