Deadline to submit: June 30, 2017 Artshow.com is currently accepting entries for the 13th annual Art Kudos International Juried Competition at www.artkudos.com. Open to all artists ages 18 and older working in the following media: drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, digital art, sculpture, installations, ceramics, fiber, wood, glass, and mixed media. Media not accepted: video/film, wearable art. A total of $4,500 will be awarded as follows: Best of Show – $1,200; Second Place – $1,000; Third Place – $750; Founder’s Award of Distinction – $500; (3) Merit Awards – $250 each; (3) Honorable Mentions – $100 each. Awards Judge: Mike Calway-Fagen is an artist, writer, and curator based in Athens, GA where he is Assistant Professor of Sculpture at the University of Georgia. $35 entry fee. We all are working artists and moms of young kids, who graduated from high-profile masters programs in the early 2000s and have had a running fifteen-year dialogue about our struggles to balance our personal and professional lives.
