“All The Girls Behind”, 2007 ,earthenware, 24″ x 28″ x 56″Koi Neng Liew is originally from Singapore, where studied at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. In 2001 he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, and in 2005 received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Liew is the recipient of numerous grants and fellowships, most recently the Roswell Artist in Residence grant in 2008, and was a Taunt Fellow at the Archie Bray Foundation in 2005. He is a featured artist in the Clay Art International Yearbook published in Athens, Greece, and has exhibited both nationally and internationally in the Uniited States and China over the past 10 years. Currently, he is a Year Long Artist in Residence at the Medalta International Artists in Residence program in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada.
