Applications are now open for the annual Itami international craft competition. The theme of 2010 ITAMI International Craft Exhibition is Shuki-Shuhaidai (a service for drinking sake). Applicants will craft sets of cup, bottle and stand that is most appropriate for drinking sake, not wine or whiskey!

Time for a change I reckon. Hope you like the looks of things around here. I was in the mood for something a bit brighter and cleaner. Looks like Blogger might have a few hiccups in the new design template and I’ll try to get that sorted asap.

New Sculptures by Wesley Anderegg

Wesley Anderegg received his B.S. in geography from Arizona State University in Tempe, and has been resident artist at Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts in Helena, Montana, and at Anderson Ranch arts Center in Snowmass Village, Colorado. His work is included in such collections as the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian, Mint Museum of Craft and Design and the Fredrick R. Weisman Museum in Minneapolis among others.
