US Northeast-based artists (including students studying in the
Northeast or artists from the Northeast) are invited to submit ceramic
sculpture (and mixed media which is primarily ceramic) to the Northeast
Ceramic Sculpture Exhibition between May 1st and July 15th, 2016. Works will be selected by juror and ceramic artist, Anat Shiftan, and an Opening Reception will be held on September 10th, 2016.
Application fee: $30 for 4 images. You
may submit 4 images of 4 separate works, or you can use your extra
spaces for detail images of one work. If you would like to submit more
than 4 images you may apply more than once.
Delivering (or shipping) and insuring artworks
in transit are the sole responsibility of the artist. Adequate
packaging and return postage are required for any shipped works.
Size limitation: No longer than 36 inches in any dimension. Work meant to hang on a wall must be ready to hang.
Works should have been made within the last five years.
Sponsored Awards will be presented at the Opening Reception on September 10th.
A 25% sales commission will go to Art Centro for the sale of any work.

The Cultural Association Passepartout Faenza announces the first edition of the “Ceramic&Colours
Award”, a ceramic competition with the aim of promoting and enhancing
the research in the field of vitreous ceramic coatings for the finishing
of ceramic objects.

2016
marks the second iteration of The Clay Studio National, a biannual
exhibition showcasing the best contemporary ceramic art being made in
the United States now. Through this juried exhibition we will highlight a
diverse range of work, from functional to sculptural, and from
traditional production techniques to cutting edge manufacturing
technology.
The jury will consist of Clay Studio Curator of Artistic Programs,
Jennifer Zwilling, and two guest jurors. The Clay Studio National will
be on display in our Harrison and Reed+Smith Galleries from May 6 to
June 19, 2016.
Applications are due no later than April 1, 2016. Artists will be
informed of the jury’s decisions on April 6, 2016. Artwork selected for
the exhibition must arrive at The Clay Studio no later than April 25,
2016.
All artwork must be for sale, The Clay Studio retains a 50%
commission on all sales. Costs of shipping to The Clay Studio are the
responsibility of the artist, return shipping to the origin of the work
will be covered by The Clay Studio.

You must be a member of NCC to apply to this exhibition.

The online application deadline is Friday, February 20, by 5 pm.

If accepted, work must arrive at NCC no later than April 21.

There is no application fee.

The member-artist is responsible for all shipping/transportation to and from NCC.

Members may submit up to three pieces that were executed during the past two years,

at the time of the exhibition. Work that is not the same as the piece accepted will be
disqualified. We would prefer to include pieces that have not been previously exhibited
at the Clay Center. Due to space constraints, and a desire to include as many members
as space allows, we must limit the size of any individual piece to 36” x 36” x 36”.

Hamilton Artists Inc. is currently accepting applications for both
its James and Cannon Galleries as well as its Cannon Project Wall space.
The Cannon Gallery is a juried exhibition space, accepting local,
national and international applications and paying full CARFAC fees. The
Cannon Project Wall is an outdoor exhibition platform measuring 8′ x
36′. Artists may also choose to apply to the James Gallery which is
primarily a members exhibition space. There are four specific calls for
the James Gallery listed below. Please refer to the descriptions of the
Galleries to decide which is more appropriate for your needs/ practice.
