Applications are welcomed from professionals in the field of ceramics. Applicants may not be students and may not have received major national attention for their work, (e.g. a one-person exhibition at a nationally prominent gallery or museum).

Applicant MUST be a current NCECA Member at the time of application. NCECA Membership fees are not included in any event registration. Membership is a stand alone annual fee. Student Scholarships for CRITICAL Santa Fe
DEADLINE JUNE 30, 2010

NCECA is pleased to announce the availability of student scholarships for participation in the CRITICAL Santa Fe Symposium to be held October 27 – 30, 2010. These awards are open to NCECA Members who are full-time undergraduate, graduate and post-baccalaureate students enrolled at an accredited college, university or art institute in the U.S. at the time of the application deadline. There is no age limit. Anyone who has received a major grant or fellowship is not eligible. Applications are to be supported by one (1) letter of recommendation written by a ceramics teacher who has taught the student, along with a 200 – 300 word statement of intent. A maximum of four $250 awards may be made. The selection committee includes the NCECA Student Director At Large, an NCECA Director at Large and a third ceramic artist.

This form and all materials must be submitted electronically by June 30, 2010.
