As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve partnered with Janine Vangool of Uppercase and Julia Krueger to publish a book on Ceramics in 2020. We’ve been working away on the themes for the book and compiling a list of potential artists to include – but we also want to here from YOU!
Part of this book is going to be curated via submissions that you send in to us. So here’s your chance to get your work seen internationally in one of Uppercase’s exquisite publications. They are eye candy and compelling content overload!
“You do not need to be a professional potter to apply. If you’re an entrepreneur who utilizes ceramics in your business in a unique way, please apply. We are looking for a variety of abilities, techniques and perspectives. Our preference through this audition process is to discover previously unpublished artists, makers and entrepreneurs. Thank you for your understanding.
This is an “audition” only. Your submission will be reviewed by publisher Janine Vangool and co-authors Carole Epp and Julia Krueger. Please do not contact us individually; we will review everything and will let you know in early 2020 on the status of your audition.
Should you be selected for inclusion in Volume C: Ceramics, we will have additional questions for you in January that will be due by the end of February 2020 along with high-resolution photographs. Thank you!”
