craftNEWYORK, a show and sale to benefit CERF+ and produced by Artrider Productions , is accepting applications for exhibitors for its second annual show scheduled for March 30 – April 1, 2012. Premiering to rave reviews from both artist exhibitors and attendees in 2011, we anticipate an outstanding second year as excitement continues to build for this show among collectors and craft artists. craftNEWYORK is held at 7 W New York, an intimate, gallery-like setting in Manhattan’s newest and most successful upscale event venue on 34th Street at 5th Avenue, across from the Empire State Building. Jurors for the 2012 show are: Elissa Ehlin, enamellist; Jean McLaughlin, Executive Director of Penland School of Crafts; Josh Simpson , glass blower; Brent Skidmore, furniture maker; and Lana Wilson , clay artist. Uncommon Goods – Ceramics Design Challenge

Calling all potters, ceramicists, artisans and designers!
Uncommom goods is looking for your best works in clay and porcelain— unique items for tabletop and home. Whether you make each piece by hand, or create a one-of-a-kind piece to be cast or molded, we can’t wait to see your creative work. Prize: $500 + the opportunity to sign a vendor contract with UncommonGoods. Deadline: You can enter up to five of your unique designs by October 31, 2011 at 11:59 PM ET It’s Easy To Enter! Call for entries: 3rd Biennial Central Time Ceramics juried exhibition

Bradley University Galleries, Peoria, IL

This exhibition is open to all ceramic artists over the age of 18, who currently reside in the Central Time Zone. Artwork submitted must have been completed within the last three years. All forms of ceramic expression are encouraged. The show will be judged by Delores Fortuna, MFA, a ceramicist with over 30 years of experience.
