Gustin Ceramics is getting ready to run an online auction fundraiser to support the Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts

Gustin Ceramics will be hosting an Online Auction, Exhibition and Raffle to raise money for the Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts, located in Newcastle, Maine.
We’re doing it again! We invited 100 of the fields most celebrated artists from the United States and Canada to send work that was fired in the anagama wood kiln at Gustin Ceramics in May and October. Each has generously donated their work to support the facilities and programs of the Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts. The on-line auction will run from December 1-December 10. Take home some great pots by bidding on these unique pieces and help support Watershed’s facilities and programs.

The 25th Anniversary Benefit Exhibition will open the evening of December 10th at Gustin Gallery in South Dartmouth, MA, with food and drink, culminating the nights festivities with the Pottery Raffle. The Raffle 150 pieces from the two wood firings will be raffled on the evening of Dec. 10th. Everyone who purchases a ticket will receive a piece. A “special” piece will be saved for last, going to the person with the 150th number! You don’t need to be present to participate! A Watershed Board member will pick a piece when your number is called and we’ll send it to you. Tickets can be purchased by purchasing thru Watershed.Visit the website here to preview work and get more info.

Medalta International Artists’ Exhibition & Sale

Throughout December, The seven artists currently in residence in our Shaw Centre will be exhibiting and selling their work in our brand new Yuill Family Gallery. All of these ceramic artists are well-established in their field (many nationally & internationally) and their work is very unique. They’re visiting Medicine Hat for the year and have already made themselves at home in our community. For the art collector in you, this exhibition will be very interesting. It is also the first opportunity this new group of visiting artists will have to showcase their work to the community. We hope you can all make it so we can show them how Medicine Hat appreciates its artists. The exhibition runs from December 1 – 16 with the grand opening on December 1 at 7:00pm. We hope to see you all there.medalta.org
