Following on from the success of the Ceramics Ireland initiative transFORM
for the Year of Craft 2011 we have committed to running an exhibition
of this high calibre every three years. This exhibition ‘Centred’
(working title) is being organised to coincide with the International
Academy of Ceramics 46th General Assembly, taking place in Dublin Castle 9th – 12th September 2014.
Ceramics Ireland invites all ceramic makers living here and Irish
makers abroad to submit to a juried exhibition, which
will be launched at Farmleigh Gallery, Phoenix Park in August 2014

Gallery. Cup Show Juror, International blogger and Saskatoon-based
ceramic artist Carole Epp will be on hand to speak about her selections
and award prizes to the winning entries.
International Cup Show has been juried by Canadian ceramic artist and
international blogger, Carole Epp (administrator of the awesome Musing About Mud blog).
show features some of the most interesting work we have been lucky
enough to exhibit from some extremely talented and creative artists.
on display for this exhibition is each artist’s interpretation of the
cup. Whether it’s a mug, teacup, yunomi, beer stein or creative
interpretation of the vessel, it’s interesting to see each artist’s
personality shine through.
