Kate MacDowell @ The Sitka Art Invitational Exhibit and Sale
The Sitka Art Invitational exhibit and sale focusing on art and ecology opens this weekend at the World Forestry Center. There will be an opening night party with the artists friday, November 13th, from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. (entrance fee) and Saturday & Sunday, November 14-15, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. is the public exhibit and sale (free admission). Proceeds go to support the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology http://www.sitkacenter.org/4-1.html.

Craft ACT is a hub that reflects the depth of artistic practice contributing to Canberra’s local culture. It provides a unique service to craft and design practitioners and audiences in Canberra and the region. The position requires a person of high calibre to develop, manage and implement the Craft ACT exhibition program. The successful applicant will hold relevant tertiary qualifications and/or have industry experience in curating and exhibition management. An understanding of the craft and design sector is essential, as well as demonstrated project management and exhibition programming experience.
