Artist of the day and a holiday giveaway – can’t say no to that!

Alright folks, I’ve been thinking again lately that it’s time for another ARTIST OF THE DAY month here at musing. Last April was so much fun, so let’s give it another go. This time to sweeten the deal I’m going to be offering a giveaway as incentive to get you guys to send in your work. Here’s how it will go:

  • Open to any reader of the blog. International submissions encouraged.
  • All you need to do is send me some images of your work, a brief bio, a brief statement about your work (nothing serious, don’t stress about it!) and a link to your website/and/or email if you want people to be able to contact you. (let me know if you DON’T want your email included in the post)
  • Include your mailing address (for my eyes only in case you win)
  • Artists previously shown in the last Artist of the day month are still eligible, but you MUST send me new work.

Now I know what you’re saying – what about the giveaway Carole?????

There will be 2 prizes, so 2 ways to enter – but you can only win once.

#1 way to win – SUBMIT YOUR WORK!!! I’m going to randomly chose a day of the month out of a hat (after the month has passed) and the artist showcased on that day will be a winner.

#2 way to win – COMMENT,COMMENT,COMMENT!!! Give these artists of the day some love and adoration and you could be on your way to winning! At the end of the month I’ll randomly chose another number out of a hat for a day of the month, then I’ll randomly chose a number to correspond with the number of comments attached to the post. If your comment represents the chosen number you are a winner. If you are the comment winner I’ll notify you at the end of the month to get address info.

Sounds complicated? Naw, simple. All you have to do is send me your info and images ASAP to ensure you have a spot as an Artist of the month and then once the posts go live in December comment as much as you can.

Oh and as for the prizes??? Well it’ll be 2 ceramic items of equal value from the shelves of my studio, not sure what yet, but i promise it’ll be worth it!

It’s up to you guys to make December full of beautiful posts here on Musing, and my gift in return is a piece of my own artwork sent to you, wherever in the world you might live – free of charge.
