Salon International du Design de Montréal (SIDIM) est présentement à la
recherche d’artisans et de designers de toutes disciplines proposant
des créations exclusives pouvant intéresser une clientèle de designers
et d’entreprise  pour sa populaire exposition AVENUE DE LA CULTURE

L’exposition
a pour but de mettre de l’avant votre talent auprès d’un réseau de plus
de 20 000 professionels du design, médias spécialisés, acheteurs
corporatifs et amateurs de créations québécois.

Critère d’admissibilité:

– Être un Artisan ou Designer résidant au Canada
– Présenter des créations contemporaines pouvant s’intégrer au design d’intérieur ou d’extérieur.
– Faire partie des disciplines recherchées pour l’exposition (voir les disciplines)

Red Lodge Clay Center’s Juried National extends our mission, showcasing
the most relevant and diverse practices in the field of ceramics.

Opening Reception September 4, 2015, 5-7 PM Exhibition

ONLINE September 7, 2015, by 10 AM Mountain Time

ELIGIBILITY Open to all ceramic artists, 18 years and older. 50 lb.
limit on all submissions. Work must be completed within the last two
years.

MEDIA: Ceramics. Mixed media will be accepted if clay is the dominant
material, final determinations will be made by the juror.

Juror’s Choice Award $500
Director’s Choice Award $300
Curatorial Choice Award $200

2015 Juror: Gail Kendall

JUROR: Gail Kendall creates ceramic works influenced by European
earthenware pottery and porcelain traditions from the 13th through the
18th centuries. Both “peasant” and “palace” pots inspire her. From
1987-2011 she was the Hixson-Lied Professor of Art at University of
Nebraska-Lincoln. She has been a resident artist at Spode Fine China
Works in Stoke-On-Trent, England; the Archie Bray Foundation in Helena,
Montana; Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts in Newcastle, Maine; and
Red Lodge Clay Center in Red Lodge, Montana. In 2003 Kendall was a
participant in the Attingham Trust Summer School for the Study of
Historic Houses in England. Her work has been shown in countless
exhibitions in the U.S. and abroad and is the subject of articles in
periodicals.
