Janet DeBoos: An Interview by Jan Howlin from Australian Ceramics on Vimeo.
Hear Janet DeBoos talk about her experiences in
China. Jan Howlin visited Janet at her home and pottery in the
Brindabella Ranges west of Canberra and in this interview excerpt,
accompanied by a slideshow, Janet describes how she became the designer
of factory-produced ceramics, and how this involvement has radically
changed the work she makes. The interview is accompanied by images of
Janet’s home, studio, office and work taken by photographer Anthony
Browell.

The fair will be held on December 1 & 2, 2012 at the Old Strathcona
Performing Arts Centre building at 8426 Gateway Blvd in Edmonton,
Canada. We’re nicely close to the busy Strathcona Farmers’ Market crowd!
Hours are 10AM to 5PM on Saturday and 12PM to 5PM on Sunday. We expect
2500+ visitors over 2 days!
Some things to note:
• Sorry, the Bison cannot accept one-day vendors.
• If you back out of the fair after you’ve been accepted, we will still
have to charge you for your table, and we may ask you to take a vacation
from the next fair.
With our new setup, backed-out on tables can go to
other awesome vendors on a wait list.
Admittance to the Bison is competitive!
Please note the Bison only has
space for roughly 70 vendors, and we regularly receive nearly double
that number of applications. Don’t let that discourage you, we do make
space for new vendors in every fair!
