The application is now live through August 5th for the November 30th, 2013 show. You can visit the website for further details.
It
is free to apply for Art vs. Craft. The on-line application period is
open from July 8- August 5th, 2013. All applications must be filled out
in entirety online to be considered, no exceptions. Due to the amount of
applicants each year AVC does not consider any late applications under
any circumstances. AVC is a juried show, but it’s not necessary to have
an established business or to even have selling experience to apply.
However, we are interested in professionalism and select vendors based
upon their uniqueness and quality of work reflected in their
application.
WHAT TYPE OF VENDORS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The
shoppers who come to our event seem to be interested in predominantly
purchaseing work between $15-$200. If this isn’t your retail price
range AVC may not be a good fit for you. We accept applications for
clothing, jewelry, ceramics, household items, toys, stationery, bath and
body, handbags, plush, paintings, prints, ornaments and the best kind
is things we don’t even know exist yet. If you are curious what type of
work has been at past AVC events there are a number of photos from past
events here.

Handmade
from Ryan Buller on Vimeo. Handmade is the story of the passion and intimacy that handmade products hold. Following through a blacksmith, ceramicists, and a custom cafe bike builder, we get to understand why, despite technological advances, we still make things from scratch by hand.
