Call for entry: “Earth”
OLD FORGE — View, an arts center in the
Adirondacks, is seeking entries to “Earth” a juried ceramics exhibition
to be displayed in the Henry Kashiwa Eco Gallery from Oct. 6 to Dec. 12.
Entries will be selected for
the exhibition and juried by Eric Serritella. The last day to submit an
entry is Aug. 25. The winner of Best in Show will be invited to have an
exhibition of their work at View.

The Juror Eric Serritella, is a nationally exhibiting
ceramic artist specializing in handcarved trompe l’oeil vessels
transformed into birch and weathered logs. Serritella’s one-of-a-kind
ceramic sculptures have been awarded and exhibited in galleries and
museums from coast to coast and in Asia. His work is included in
permanent museum collections, including Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Museum and
The Everson Museum of Art’s world class ceramics collection in
Syracuse.
This exhibit is open to all living artists working in
ceramics. Work must be original, completed within the past five years
and not have been exhibited previously at View.
Artists may submit up to three different works for
consideration with an entry fee of $40 ($30 for arts center members).
Wall pieces may not exceed 36 inches in any dimension, and may not weigh
more than 30 lbs.

Call for artists: The Yingge Ceramics Museum Artist in Residence Program
The Yingge Ceramics Museum in Taiwan has begun the 2013 application process for artist-in-resident program; we sincerely hope you or your artist friends can all participate in our 3 month all-expense paid international residency program (including round-trip travel subsides, daily stipend, accommodation, and NTD 30,000 material fee). For the 2013 program, our goal is to select the best artists from all the applicants who have applied for our program. The application deadline is March 31, 2013. Please make sure to send your application in time.
The attachment files include residency details and application files. Please go through the files carefully to understand more about our programs. Artwork images for entering the selection process is recommended 10-15 art work photos. Please pass on this information to anyone who might be interested in our program!

The 13th Royal Bison Craft & Art Fair Application Form • Holiday 2012
accepting applications for the 13th Royal Bison Craft and Art Fair –
Holiday Edition!
Applications can be made from August 15th until midnight, September 30,
2012. At that point, the Bison will consider all factors and come up
with a roster for the fair and inform applicants of the results.
Performing Arts Centre building at 8426 Gateway Blvd in Edmonton,
Canada. We’re nicely close to the busy Strathcona Farmers’ Market crowd!
Hours are 10AM to 5PM on Saturday and 12PM to 5PM on Sunday. We expect
2500+ visitors over 2 days!
1) HALF TABLE ($45.00 for 4 ft)
2) FULL TABLE ($90.00 for 8ft)
*Any additional space needed for racks, etc., must be deducted from the
vendor’s table space.
Payment is due after you have been accepted. We accept e-transfers,
Paypal and/or the archaic personal cheque for table fees.
