A juried cup exhibition embraces a wide spectrum of cup forms both sculptural and utilitarian.
• The Show is open to all artists who are residents of and working in the United States.
• All work is expected to be predominately made in clay.
• All work accepted must be available for sale during the exhibition.
• Each piece of work is limited to 15 pounds and must not exceed 30 inches in all dimensions.
• Work entered should not be so fragile that shipment or public display is potentially harmful to the work or the viewer.
• Work must be properly prepared and presented for display.
• Accepted work which differs significantly from the application will be disqualified.
The non-refundable processing fee for applying electronically by November 1, 2011 is $25.00, payable online at the time you fill out the application at https://www.callforentry.org
Each entrant may submit up to three (3) pieces of work with one digital image per piece for consideration by the juror. Images must be of current work and representative of work the artist plans to exhibit at the show.
Email notification will begin on November 16th and conclude no later than December 15, 2012.
We are accepting applications for all functional vessels and vessels referencing function that pay special attention to surface treatment. The exhibition will run from August 26th – September 18th. He shares a home and studio in Alfred Station, NY with potter/educator Linda Sikora. Awards he has received include a NEA Crafts Fellowship, and two McKnight Fellowships. He shows and sells his pottery throughout the U.S. and internationally- including the St. Croix Potter’s tour, the Old Church Pottery Show, and the Philadelphia Craft Show.
To be considered, please submit the following by June 30, 2011:
• Up to five professional-quality digital images (300 ppi resolution on CD) and complete descriptions
of each work submitted
• A full-size color print (as large as the image will print at 300 ppi) of each image. Images should print to
at least five (5) inches in the smallest dimension; because accepted entries are printed, larger is better.
• Full contact information including e-mail
• 500 words discussing the body of work you are submitting
• Instructor name(s) and contact information
• Institution at which you study

Do not submit materials in binders or folders. E-mailed submissions and submissions of more than five images will not be considered. Submitted materials will not be returned.
Due to the volume of submissions, we are unable to acknowledge receipt of materials.
