The Vitrify Alcorso Award is a newly established $10,000 annual prize for ceramics. Open to artists nationally, the award is non-acquisitive. Four artists were selected from the applications received to develop work for a group exhibition of ceramic art opening April 15 2011 at the Colville Gallery, Salamanca Place, Hobart Tasmania.
