I’m going to admit it to you all, i’m getting stressed! So little time left, how did this month go by so quickly? I’m already getting teary at the thought of this amazing residency being over and us all going off on our separate ways…sigh…late at night, tired, sentimental me.
But today was another fantastic day around the studio. I’ve been madly finishing a few more pieces, packed a bisque kiln of figurines as I should be getting some of those finished soon…ekk!
We packed and are firing (as I write, hence why i’m still up) another soda kiln, fingers crossed.
Oh and we had a few amazing visits today, one from the Medalta mascot and poster boy Brendan Tang (who by the way posted some awesome images from the studio on his website here).
A heart to heart on the couch : )
And another visit that almost left me speechless with glee. I walked into my studio to find the lovely ladies Louise Cormier, Elaine Harrison, and Anna Madsen. Not only was it a nice studio visit, but these ladies are actually readers of musing and of tiny revolutions so it was a blend of virtual and real worlds colliding. The threesome decided to drive down to the Hat for a visit and to see in person what Robin and I have been blogging about this month. How fantastic! That visit soooo made my day, thanks ladies!
it is over too fast- glad it turned out so well for you.
Like summer camp for grown-ups!
That Brendan, he's dreamy
Brendan, stop logging in as anonymous. Seriously. It is awkward. Kind of awkward like I am in that bottom picture.
