Celebrated LGBTQ artists from around the U.S. will teach each workshop to help empower and inspire 70 Maine young LGBTQ people to see themselves in their fullest capacity and model an open and out life in the arts. Youth participants will work and learn alongside one another in the studios in a safe and supportive community. Students, faculty and chaperones will live on campus for three days and participate in evening presentations and discussion groups facilitated by teaching artists. Fee for the weekend is $25 and scholarships are available if needed. For more information, contact OUT Maine program director, Sue Campbell at [email protected]
