Thankfully things are coming out of the deep freeze up here in Canada, but I still thought this was a handy tip to share – using a fish tank warmer to keep your throwing water warm on cold days.
Thanks to Jason Bade for sharing the tip on Facebook’s Clay Buddies page.
Had a friend who had to quit clay for about three years after using warm water in her cold studio. She'd keep it on her wood stove, and over time bacteria grew in it and infected her hands. If you do this, change your water at least daily, if not more often. It is dangerous.
