Via @dezainnet, video of the making of Jaime Hayon tablewares at the Kutani Choemon factory in Japan.
Kutani Choemon has been making tableware and tea ceremony utensils for more than 130 years in Ishikawa, Japan. Every piece they’ve made is carefully handmade and hand-painted by experienced craftsmen. In 2010, a new Kutani pottery collection, JAIME HAYON x KUTANI CHOEMON produced by MARUWAKA-YA, was released in collaboration with Spanish designer Jaime Hayón.
