“Taking inspiration from Japanese bento boxes and indian tiffins, the bowls morph shape from a sturdy square bottom to a circular top. The form factor allows the bowls to fit together perfectly and intuitively. the components bind together securely with the use of a natural cloth elastic strap, held in place between the bottom bowls’ feet.”

Oh- I like these! What a great way to pack a lunch!
No doubt the tiffin is a fantastic idea. I was also much enamoured with it. The whole concept is beautiful and unique.
However: Be careful if you are intending to buy this kit. I ordered one 3 months ago, have still not received it, and have had next to no communication from Lorea. Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing from her unless you can hold the piece in your hand when you buy it. I hope that others don't wind up in the same boat as I have.
Update: The tiffin just arrived on my doorstep today. It is a nice looking piece, very hansome. A long wait, but it is a nice piece.
Update: The tiffin just arrived on my doorstep today. It is a hansome piece of work, the end product is nice. Wouldn't want to go through the process of ordering one again though.
I would agree with Geoff, it is a pain in the neck to communicate with Ms Sinclaire. I bought the tiffin from her last year March (2012). It was meant to be an anniversary present for my husband. It never arrived on time for that. I inquired about it 2-3 weeks after I placed my order (and was charged promptly). Ms. Sinclaire responded citing an overflow of orders as the reason of delay. I was more than happy to accommodate the delay, since I understand how hard it can be for independent artists. She told me she would process my order a week later. I emailed her again 10 days after her email, I got no communication. Without going into lengthy details, it was an absolutely frustrating experience. I was never given the right approximate date of when my order would be processed, and 2 months later (when I had partially given up hope)I got a confirmation from the mailing company of my tiffin being on it's way.
When I got the tiffin, my husband was pleasantly surprised. It was afterall, no special occasion at that point, the anniversary was 2 months past remember! It is a very beautiful tiffin, but NOT spill-proof. You definitely could not pack soup in it, or anything with gravy.
Unfortunately, today the tiffin met it's end when my husband dropped it on the floor. It shattered in a thousand pieces 🙁 and while I would love to replace it, I shudder at the thought dealing with the inconsistencies I was met with last time. I hope Ms. Sinclaire realizes the damage she is doing to her business by being so unprofessional. Being behind on her orders is not her (primary) problem. It is the lack of communication, and leaving people to wonder if they have just been duped out of almost a hundred dollars (and then not even having the decency to apologies)
Count yourself lucky! I ordered and paid for my Tiffin on 10/28/2012. It was to be a birthday gift for my Dad's wife. She is an artist herself and collects tiffins. It's now 2/21/2013 and I have yet to receive the tiffin. The last email I got from her was on 1/14 in which she claimed to have sent the tiffin. I have sent 10 more emails requesting a tracking number or a full refund. I have never heard back. At this point I consider her to be a common thief.
