pattern — past to present

Forrest Lesch-Middelton
Using silkscreen and embossment transfers, Petaluma artist Forrest Lesch-Middelton, explores the use of pattern as a vehicle to express historical trends and changes of culture. Form, volume, surface and technology come together in his everyday ceramic objects that elicit a visceral and intellectual response. Forrest is the ceramics program director of the Sonoma Community Center and has taught at various Bay Area colleges including Santa Rosa Jr. College, City College of San Francisco, and Solano College.
