Annual Salary: $44,994.00 for 0.9 position Craft ACT: Craft and Design Centre is seeking applications for the position of Curator/Exhibitions Manager. The Centre is a venue for the presentation, access and appreciation of the best contemporary craft and design that Canberra has to offer and plays an active role in the critical discourse of contemporary craft and design. Craft ACT is a hub that reflects the depth of artistic practice contributing to Canberra’s local culture. It provides a unique service to craft and design practitioners and audiences in Canberra and the region. The position requires a person of high calibre to develop, manage and implement the Craft ACT exhibition program. The successful applicant will hold relevant tertiary qualifications and/or have industry experience in curating and exhibition management. An understanding of the craft and design sector is essential, as well as demonstrated project management and exhibition programming experience. The applicant will also be required to meet flexible working hours.
