Call for entry – Strange Figurations

SlowArt Productions presents the group thematic exhibition, Strange Figurations. The exhibition will be held at the Limner Gallery from October 1 – 31, 2009. This exhibition is open to all interpretations of the concept, Strange Figurations. Included are all forms of unique and unusual figurative art from the realist to the surreal and visionary. All artist interpretations of the theme “Strange Figurations” will be reviewed and considered.

Eligibility: The competition is open to all artists, national and international, working in any media. All forms of art are eligible. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. 96″ maximum for wall hung work, 72″ for free standing sculpture.

Awards: One artist from Strange Figurations will be awarded a two page display in Direct Art Volume #17, Fall 2010 issue. Two artists will be awarded a single page display. Deadline: The final postmarked deadline is June 30, 2009. There will be no extension of the deadline, all entries must be postmarked by that date.
