So I realize I’ve been fairly quiet on the blog lately. I’ve been busy with making work for a big show, enjoying my garden, spending time in the sun with my family and having a blast hosting a visit from Hawaiian born ceramic artist Daven Hee. I first met Daven when we were both grad students at the Australian National University. When he mentioned he was going to visit the mainland I knew I had to get him out for a workshop. Last night he had us laughing like mad at his artist talk and today’s workshop was filled with amazing insight into his process and some lovely, lovely pots. I can’t wait for tomorrow’s demos.
