Artist of the Day: Eleanor Hendriks

Yeah Canadian Content!!!

Eleanor hendriks is a potter from Fenelon Falls, Ontario, Canada who is very glad that Spring is finally coming to her part of the world -perhaps then she will get off the computer and head outside for a change! (PLEASE NOTE – THESE ARE HER WORDS NOT MINE – I’d hardly be the one to be telling someone to get off the computer! HA!)

You can find more of her beautiful work by checking out Élan Fine Pottery:

Anita Rocamora ceramics at Mysteria Gallery

This exhibition addresses the processes of approaching the human figure through different media, through different styles, through different techniques. All of these methods are translated through a universal awareness of and concern for the human condition. The artists interface through the sharing of that sensitivity and that sense of community. June J. Jacobs uses hand felted raw wool and mixed media for her vestal-like sculptures. Anita Rocamora sculpts her forms and figurative works in terracotta and porcelain.

Join us for the opening reception: Wednesday, April 8, 7-9 pm

Show continues to May 16.
