In Kip’s words:
I am a functional potter working primarily in low fire earthenware at the Northern Clay Center in Minneapolis, MN. I use graphic imagery to exlpore my interest in the intersection of food production, energy use and transportation issues. I am intrigued by the way utilitarian ceramics can spark conversation and serve as a medium for personal interaction and change. When I’m not in the studio, I love to bake and knit!
